This Melomel, a mead fermented with berries, is made with local honey and foraged cherries. The result is a tart and aromatic honey wine, or mead. Slightly sweet and tannic and filled with notes of cherries, raw honey, and a touch of wood from Hungarian oak after being aged for 6 months in the barrels.
